I often get asked about being a lawyer and options to cultivate a meaningful career that has impact.
Yes, it is possible to do both.
For the first 15 years of my career I probably neglected this so feel like I have something to say having started at Russell McVeagh and then working for an international law firm in London, Tokyo and Sydney for 11 years.
So here are a few resources which tell some of my journey and hopefully will inspire you if you are a law student or new graduate or early in your career. Be intentional and deliberate about what you do – understand who you are and that will help inform the type of law you do (rather than the other way around).
