Two points that Sue Barker and I are gauging interest on – would you like to be involved?:
- Charities sector views paper: We’d like to get ideas from everyone on the top 10 issues to profile ahead of the election to highlight what should be front of mind. Do you want to participate and what might those topics be for your organisation? One we would include is a first principles review of the Charities Act rather than further changes via amending Tax policy/regulations.
- Organising a panel of political parties: Use the above paper as the basis for questions at an event in Wellington (and held online) in 2026 for representatives of each political party to respond (next year).
