Just facilitated this Community Networks Aotearoa national Zui (Zoom Hui) to discuss the findings of the 2024 State of the Sector Report. Yuo can find out more and download it here https://www.communitynetworksaotearoa.org.nz/state-of-the-sector-survey-2024
The State of the Sector Report is highly anticipated by several Government Ministries and organisations. We are all keenly aware of the value of depthful research, anecdotes, and especially statistics in advocating for a better Aotearoa/New Zealand. Community Networks Aotearoa is the umbrella organisation for local, regional and national Community Networks in Aotearoa | New Zealand.
Facilitated by Steven Moe, CNA are excited to present a panel of Sector leaders:
- Murray Edridge – City Missioner, Wellington City Mission
- Michelle Kitney – CEO, Volunteering New Zealand
- Jewelz Petley – Tangata Whenua Co-Chair, HuiE!
Steven Moe is an extremely well-known name in our Sector. He is a lawyer and partner at Parry Field in Ōtautahi/Christchurch who is about empowering impact and catalysing good ideas by helping get legal structures right. His podcast ‘Seeds’ has over 400 episodes covering every Sector topic under the sun.
CNA is very proud to bring together a wide and varied collection of panellists whose background of skills and points of view will drill down into some of the issues that the report brings to light. What are the emerging trends? How might we face key challenges? Are we doomed or is there light at the end of the tunnel? How can we come together as a Sector to address our future?
Thanks Patrick, Holly and Ros for the chance to be involved in this.
